Dear Bruce and Elaine, Our stay at Rum Punch Villa was the most amazing four days of our lives! Everything imaginable was absolutely perfect. From the time we met you at the ferry until we said goodbye to Gloria and Samuel, our every desire was fulfilled. Your website is wonderful, but it still can’t do justice to the beautiful getaway that you have created. We will never forget walking through the front doors for the very first time. Between the stunning view and the sound of the waves crashing, it literally left us speechless. Thank you both for everything you did to help make our stay so incredible. It was the trip of a lifetime!

Dear Bruce and Elaine, Just wanted to thank you for a lovely time in Anguilla. Of course we love Rum Punch Villa, and for me to finally experience it was wonderful. It was always stunning in the pictures but so much better in real life. We've stayed in a lot of beautiful places in the Caribbean due to our work, but staying at Rum Punch was truly a new level for us (regular folk : ) Of course it was a great pleasure for me to meet you both in person — again, though you are both charming and professional via skype and e- mail — like Rum Punch, you are a joy in real life : ) For Gary and I, life is about the adventure and the lovely people we've been blessed to meet along the way. Dear Elaine and Bruce, We think you were being modest when you described The Rum Punch Villa as “a very special place.” The photos on the website did not fully convey how magnificent the property is. The view of the ocean is spectacular. The pool and the special touches made our stay perfect. We really appreciated the great care that the staff took and the special things such as the sound system throughout the villa and the stocked wine cooler. It is indeed a very special place. As professional models, who worked many places in the US, Europe and Asia, we have shot at some wonderful places around the world, but none of it comes close to our experience at the Rum Punch Villa!! Although we were shooting the pictures for your spectecular villa, it never felt as working in your paradise ... This trip turned out to be the trip of our lifetime. The sound of the ocean, the breathtaking beauty of the villa, the unbelivable sunrise & sunset over the beach, etc, your and your staff's hospitality all made it an unforgetable experience which will never forget as long as we live... We will recommend your lovely establishment to all of our friends without a doubt; whether for a romantic getaway or for a family vacation. We can not wait to come back already; the memories will stay with us forever and we will definitely try to make it back in the near future. We really hope that the pictures turned out great; we can't wait to see them on your site and elsewhere. Dear Elaine & Bruce, Thank you very much for helping organise an absolutely unforgettable birthday for my Mum. The whole family enjoyed the Villa. The swimming pool is amazing, the view from the pool is spectacular. Those that stayed at Rum Punch raved about the rooms, perticularly the showers. My parents had a lovely time and thoroughly enjoyed their beautiful room. My Mum also really like the outside patio as it was breezy enough for her to stay cool. Rum Punch was the perfect location for our trip. Our large family, including eight adults and two children, was comfortably accommodated by this amazing property. Everyone enjoyed the walking trail, which leads to a small sandy wading beach that is also great for snorkeling. Private lounge chairs and umbrellas both pool side and on the beach offer plenty of room for sunbathing or relaxing with a book, and the seaside queen bed was perfect for evening star gazing. The more adventurous of our group enjoyed hiking across the coral reef behind the villa, which offers a view of the island that most will never see. Waves crash into the craggy edges of the reef, carving out sea caves and leaving tidal pools teaming with life. Inside the villa, the full kitchen and patio barbeque gave us the option of buying groceries and cooking meals at home, which was a cost-effective alternative for our family. The amazing infinity pool provided the children with a place to play and swim on the days when we took a break from the beaches, and the size of the villa and its surroundings gave us ample opportunity for privacy and exploration. Best of all, the villa is only minutes away from Shoal Bay, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, as well as several other amazing spots. Bruce and Elaine Hearn, the owners/managers of Rum Punch, are incredibly knowledgeable and have lived on Anguilla for more than seven years and in the Caribbean for more than twenty years. They offered a bevy of information on the must-see beaches, shops, and restaurants on the island and helped us plan our daily itinerary. They even arranged for the car rental agency to come to the villa and sign us up for a rental van! Thank you, Bruce and Elaine, for building and sharing this amazing property. Ah, Rum Punch Villa, Anguilla – the name says it all; tropical breezes, the sound of the Caribbean Sea lapping on the shore and endless sunhine. After a long New York Winter and an unseasonal wet Spring I was ready for some pampering. The first thing that you notice when you enter the villa is the sunken living room which leads directly into the infinity pool, which immediately takes your eyes straight to the Caribbean Sea.Yes, you can see the two French islands, Saint Martin and Saint Barths from the Villa. Breathe taking! The two refrigerators nestled under the Isle in the kitchen filled with wines chilled to perfection was the perfect start to my vacation. When I entered my room I literally gasped, I was so overwhelmed with the décor. If this is living in paradise then I’m staying. The king size bed faced the emerald sea offering a spectacular view of the waves breaking, protected by an entire wall of folding french doors and a sliding blind for privacy. The bathroom had two showers - the one on the left was the largest shower stall ever and the one on the right was literally open at the ceiling so you’re really having a shower “outdoors and under the stars” - LUXURY! I have not stopped talking about Rum Punch Villa and will recommend it to all my friends and colleagues. Thanks again for a wonderful vacation and a memorable experience. See you in the near future.

Ocean waves began their magic the moment we stepped out of the taxi. The sound beckoned us into the foyer where view absolutely took our breath away. The openness of Rum Punch Villa meant that we could "lose" ourselves in this fantastic sound and fabulous view for the entire vacation. And we did. This was precisely the kind of vacation we had hoped for: ocean sounds and vistas that would shift us from hectic habits to being relaxed, rested, renewed. The villa itself is special ... beautifully designed and appointed in a clean, contemporary style, but with luxury at every turn. And the service is superb. We opted for morning housekeeping, which included a continental breakfast, and an evening "turn down." We couldn't have had a more pleasant housekeeper or been happier with all the "extras," like having our laundry magically "disappear" and return an hour later, clean and pressed. Although we could have had all our meals prepared, we opted for venturing out most evenings to experience the many wonderful restaurants that Anguilla has to offer. We took great comfort in knowing that if there was anything we might need, it was just a call to Elaine or Bruce away. The best "recharge" vacation we have ever had. Thank you, Bruce, Elaine and Gloria, so very much. You have created something unique and very, very special with Rum Punch Villa.
